The careful use of resources has been on our minds for a long time. Our Swiss parent company set up an environmental department back in the early 1990s. Our commitment to the environment has continued to develop in leaps and bounds. Today, a large number of our operations are certified for environmentally friendly and resource-conserving work, and we see our commitment to sustainability as a consistent process. We are guided by international standards and recommendations from environmental associations, develop measures together with customers and suppliers and undergo internal environmental audits. Our employees play a central supporting role in this process.
The package of measures is constantly being developed further. For example, the consistent review of internal processes, reduction of wet waste, recycling of used grease, optimized purchasing and processing. In the area of cleaning, we scrutinize cleaning agents as well as processes and technology (e.g. dishwashers).
